Freight Brokerage Sales Specialist

Job Summary:
Standard Logistics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in freight brokerage sales and a strong understanding of the transportation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new shippers in strategic growth areas for Standard Logistics.
- Establish long-lasting partnerships with shippers and lead business review meetings to own the customer relationship.
- Liaise with operations, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and identify new growth opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent combination of education and industry-specific experience.
- 3+ years of experience in the Transportation Industry in a freight brokerage sales capacity.
- Advanced knowledge of flatbed FTL and the transportation industry.
- Advanced knowledge of sales systems and tools.
