Job Title: Loan Processor

At Lawrence Financial Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Loan Processor to join our team. As a Loan Processor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth progression of loans from application to closing, while adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and verify loan applications to ensure completeness and accuracy, including all required documentation and signatures.
  • Verify the authenticity and accuracy of financial documents provided by borrowers, such as income statements, tax returns, bank statements, and credit reports.
  • Examine credit reports to assess the borrower's creditworthiness and evaluate their credit history.
  • Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and other team members to resolve issues, share information, and expedite loan approvals.
  • Prepare and compile all necessary loan documents accurately, including disclosures, loan agreements, and closing documents.
  • Ensure that all loan documents comply with federal and state regulations, as well as lender-specific guidelines, and review documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Enter loan data and details into the loan origination system or database accurately.
  • Monitor the status of multiple loan applications in various stages of processing, ensuring timely follow-up and completion.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of loan files to identify discrepancies, missing information, or potential issues, and take appropriate actions to address them.
