Overview

GovCIO is seeking a skilled Mobile Device Manager to join our IT team. The successful candidate will oversee the deployment, management, and maintenance of all mobile devices within the organization.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of mobile device management (MDM) solutions, security protocols, and the latest trends in mobile technology.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain mobile device management (MDM) solutions across the organization.
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of mobile devices, including smartphones, tablets, and other mobile hardware.
  • Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure all mobile devices meet the organization's security policies and standards.
  • Monitor and manage mobile device performance, including troubleshooting issues and providing technical support to end-users.
  • Enforce policies regarding the use, security, and management of mobile devices within the organization.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of mobile devices to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Train and educate employees on the proper use and security of mobile devices.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in mobile device management and recommend improvements to existing processes.
Qualifications
  • High School with - 6 years (or commensurate experience)
  • Experience in mobile device management or a related IT role.
  • Strong understanding of MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of mobile operating systems, including iOS and Android, and their enterprise management features.
  • Experience with mobile device security protocols, including encryption, VPNs, and remote wipe technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities.
  • DoD M IAT Level II (Sec+CE, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security, etc).
