The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Navarro Regional Hospital is seeking a dedicated full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing exceptional care in our 10-bed unit during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate assigned patients, planning, implementing, and documenting comprehensive nursing care.
- Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures.
- Conduct various patient tests and administer medications in accordance with established protocols.
- Empower patients by setting care goals and educating them and their families about their conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Possession of a valid Texas Nursing License.
- A minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience is required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Two (2) years of nursing experience preferred.
- Experience in cardiac care is essential.
Work Schedule:
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a self-scheduling system. Weekend and holiday shifts are mandatory.
