Job Summary:
SUMMIT INTERCONNECT INC - ANAHEIM is seeking a skilled Planning Engineer to join their team. This role involves creating and verifying manufacturing documentation, reviewing designs and lay-ups according to engineering and customer specifications, and guiding manufacturing process development for all products.

Responsibilities:
  • Create accurate job plans and shop floor travelers.
  • Develop documentation packages and use company software for planning and issuing jobs.
  • Contact customers to resolve open issues and create TDR calculations.
  • Assist in the training of new Planning Engineers and review prints and purchase orders.
  • Plan jobs' manufacturing process and institute new manufacturing processes or changes.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years' experience in the printed circuit board industry, with three years as a Planning Engineer. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The successful candidate must be able to cooperate and communicate effectively with customers, management, and supervisory staff. Additionally, proficiency in rigid, flex, rigid/flex, and sequential lam designs is necessary.

Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
