Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Traveling Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a Labor and Delivery environment. As a Traveling Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and families, and to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Monitor and report patient progress to the healthcare team, and make adjustments to patient care plans as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and to enhance patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks and responsibilities effectively.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
