At Tupelo Public Schools, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Shelter Tutor to join our team. As a Shelter Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing academic support to students who require additional assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe individual students and classroom groups to identify areas where additional support is needed.
• Design and implement interventions to support student success.
• Provide professional development and training to school personnel on interventions and the MTSS process.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with school administrators and teachers to ensure seamless implementation of interventions.

Requirements:

• Certification in education or a related field.
• Experience in designing and implementing interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
