About the Position

The Division of General Pediatrics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is seeking a dynamic and experienced Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to join our Section of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, family-centered care to hospitalized children and newborns at Holtz Children's Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive, high-quality care to patients in an academic medical center on a full-time basis.
  • Teach pediatric care to resident physicians and students, contributing to the education and training of the next generation of physician leaders.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Collaborate with highly trained subspecialists, nurses, case management, and social work services to provide comprehensive and coordinated hospital care.
About the Section of Pediatric Hospital Medicine

The mission of the Section of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is to provide innovative, high-quality care to hospitalized children and newborns, while also advancing the field of pediatric hospital medicine through education, research, and quality improvement. Our team is committed to creating a nurturing environment that provides state-of-the-art medicine for all children, regardless of their background, language, or ability to pay.

Requirements
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification/eligibility in Pediatrics or Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
  • Eligibility for a Florida medical license.
