We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer/Architect to collaborate with our experienced team within the US Coast Guard (USCG) Force Readiness Command (FORCECOM).

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will play a crucial role throughout the software development lifecycle, contributing to:

  • Requirements analysis, design, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of innovative solutions.
  • Optimizing solutions to enhance operational efficiency and modernize systems within an enterprise context.

Note: A current and active government Secret security clearance is mandatory for this position.

Primary Duties
  • Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in Power Platform development and implementation.
  • Assess the feasibility and effectiveness of new Microsoft Power Platform solutions, providing strategic recommendations.
  • Deliver hands-on training to staff on Microsoft Power Platform products and related SharePoint tools.
  • Guide and mentor personnel in the development and implementation of Power Platform solutions.
  • Engage in meetings and collaborative efforts related to Power Platform development.
  • Recommend acquisitions of new resources necessary for Power Platform development.
  • Lead the design and implementation of tailored Power Platform and SharePoint solutions to meet client needs.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure integration of Power Platform solutions with existing systems.
  • Catalog existing Power Platform solutions developed by the client.
  • Conduct regular assessments of the solution repository to identify outdated or unnecessary solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a repository of templates and best practices for Power Platform development.
  • Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting and system maintenance assistance.
  • Establish and manage a central repository for Power Platform solutions, including documentation and source code.
  • Formulate policies and procedures for repository usage, including access controls and approval processes.
  • Train personnel on how to navigate and contribute to the repository.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure proper integration and support of Power Platform solutions.
  • Deliver additional reports related to repository management, such as inventory and usage metrics.
Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of experience in Power Platform and SharePoint Online development within a federal context.
  • Hands-on experience in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, DoD 365, Dynamics 365, and SharePoint Online.
  • Proven experience in creating Power Apps (Model Driven and Canvas Apps) and Power Automate Flows.
  • Maintain current knowledge of trends and best practices in Power Platform.
  • Stay updated on developments in Power Platform solutions and suggest enhancements.
  • Must possess a current SECRET CLEARANCE.
  • Required certifications: Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Solution Architect Expert. Candidates without these certifications must commit to obtaining them within 60 days of job acceptance, with support provided by our firm.

Work Schedule
