Position Summary: The welding team members are tasked with producing high-quality trailers while delivering exceptional service in a secure environment. Candidates must thrive in a dynamic, collaborative setting and maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
- Prioritize personal safety by consistently utilizing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools tailored for each task, adhering to safety protocols, and keeping the workspace orderly.
- Arrive punctually to support production objectives and efficiency.
- Skillfully operate all machinery and tools on the welding line(s) with respect and proficiency.
- Interpret and comprehend work orders and instructions accurately.
- Conduct quality assessments and product evaluations by completing inspection documentation as directed by the production supervisor.
- Perform daily equipment checks before shifts to ensure personal and team safety, as well as the operational readiness of tools.
- Assist in various tasks and undertake additional responsibilities as required. (This list is not exhaustive and may include other duties.)
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent demonstrated skills and experience in relevant job functions.
- Possess strong physical endurance and coordination, with the ability to safely lift up to 80 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Able to work 10-hour shifts, including potential overtime.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background screening.
- Capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
