Warehouse Logistics Specialist

Shift: Saturday to Wednesday, 5:30 am to 2 pm

Competitive hourly rate: $17.50

This role involves loading and unloading customer trailers in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety and quality specifications. Forklift operators will also move materials throughout the operation to support various units' production needs and help sort pallets based on product specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe working environment by following established safety behaviors, processes, and procedures.
  • Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner, with training and certification provided as needed.
  • Sort pallets accurately and efficiently, based on manufacturer, quality, and grade, as determined through visual inspection.
  • Meet minimum production and quality requirements, with any additional duties assigned by site leadership.
  • Work effectively within a diverse team environment.

General Requirements

  • Perform sanitation, 'Clean as You Go,' and good housekeeping practices.
  • Ability to operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. consistently throughout the shift.
  • Ability to perform a job requiring consistent, repetitive motion, bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with using a pallet jack.
  • Prior forklift experience and certification preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • High school diploma, GED, or comparable work-related experience preferred.
