Job Overview

Array Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience in maintenance and repair in an industrial setting, with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic disciplines. You will be responsible for providing critical maintenance support to our entire manufacturing facility, ensuring consistent quality while minimizing production downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure ongoing upkeep of facilities, machinery, equipment, and plant operations.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Provide mechanical repairs, adjustments, installations, and daily preventive maintenance.
  • Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Perform changeovers, set-ups, and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment.
  • Plant Facilities Maintenance: Participate in all major rebuilds and plant facilities maintenance.
  • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding service to customers, both internal and external.
  • Downtime Reports: Run daily, weekly, and monthly downtime reports in Mx.
  • Audit and Compliance: Daily audit mx w/o and check for proper start to finish, proper categories, root causes, and comments in all w/o.
  • PMS Management: Daily audit pms w/o to ensure they are being completed.
  • Inventory Management: Update part inventory, request parts as needed based on stock count.
  • Procedure Development: Add procedures (work instructions) as needed into mx library.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate upcoming projects, machine rebuilds, machine upgrades, and facilities maintenance work without impacting production.
  • Tier Meetings: Run tier 1 meetings with all three shifts, discussing safety, quality, production, maintenance, people, goals, and important projects.
  • Litmos Training: Audit Litmos training to ensure the team is up to date on all training.
  • Competence Matrix: Update competence matrix as needed.
  • Assistance and Support: Assist maintenance out on the floor as needed, troubleshoot machines, or help with workload when a technician is out.
  • Interdepartmental Support: Assist other departments as needed, including production, safety, quality, and shipping.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Disciplines: Experience in one or more of the following major disciplines: mechanical, fabrication, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, industrial PLC, and computer control systems.
  • Skills: Familiarity with common hand tools, electronic tools, and machine tools; occupational hazards, safety precautions, and safe work practices; parts inventory, requirements, and interchangeability of parts between various pieces of equipment; business tasks and communication systems (Outlook, Word, Excel, CMMS).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Tools and Schematics: Skilled in the use of advanced and specialized meters and gauges.
  • Precision Metal Processing: Experience in precision industrial metal processing (saws, pushers, parts finishing, conveyors).
  • Advanced Trade or Certification: Advanced trade, certification, or degrees.
  • Schematic Understanding: Experience utilizing electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical schematics, and technical publications.

Physical Demands

Lifting requirements: 50lbs. Standing hours: 90%. Computer hours: 10%. Work environment is fast-paced, with varying noise and temperature levels. Safety measures are in place, including steel-toed boots reimbursement, ear protection, hard hats, and standard non-prescription safety glasses provided by the company.
