Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance services to ensure production equipment and facilities are running efficiently.
  • Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs as needed.
  • Prepare and perform mechanic duties, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repair of production machines and facility ancillary equipment.
  • Start up and operate production machinery and equipment for manufacturing pilot run materials and special products.
  • Read, interpret, and understand equipment manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Coordinate with contractors and obtain quotes for building improvements.
  • Support site janitorial activities as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School Degree or equivalent G.E.D.
  • Two (2) years or more related experience with a trade or technical school certificate or relevant experience.
  • Understanding of mechanical functioning and operational knowledge of all production machinery, equipment, and tooling.
  • Experience in at least one specialized skilled maintenance area, such as electrical, general maintenance, electronics, mechanical repair.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex equipment.
  • General understanding of handling hazardous waste.
  • Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated heights.
  • Able to lift 70 lbs.
  • Able to work outdoors in cold and hot weather.
Compensation:
  • Salary Range: $28.00 per hour. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
