Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Radiation Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Hibbing, Minnesota.
Job Summary:This is a unique opportunity to work with a reputable healthcare organization and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. As a Computed Tomography Radiation Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:- Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient correctly.
- Administer contrast media as required, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures, responding to any changes in their condition.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures, including images and reports.
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography.
- Current BLS certification.
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Radiation Technologist, preferably in a computed tomography setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
