Vytalogy Wellness, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Chemist II to join our Quality Control Laboratory team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.
Responsibilities- Quality Control Testing: Perform analytical testing pursuant to available qualified methods of analysis, including but not limited to:
- Moisture analysis, tapped/bulk density, particle size via sieving method, UV-Vis spectrometry, FTIR spectrometry, TOC, HPLC and UPLC chromatography, dissolution, disintegration, weighing, etc.
- Document Preparation: Under general supervision, and/or standard operating procedures, analytical testing procedures, final submission ready documents, and create document templates for use by team members.
- Education and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control laboratory or related field. BS in Chemistry or a closely related scientific field.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs., climb step-up ladders, and perform constant motions of scooping, wiping, raising of arms, bending, and kneeling, if needed. Ability to be exposed to nutraceutical raw materials and powders which may include allergen related items. Ability to comprehend basic computer knowledge.
- Personal Qualities: Exhibits the ability to work well with others and maintain organization between cross-related departments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to address audiences at varying levels. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
