Job Description
The ideal candidate will possess one to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Step-down or Intermediate Care setting. A valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing, BLS certification, and Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification are required. Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential for this role. Responsibilities include administering medications as ordered, monitoring patients' responses to interventions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this position, candidates must have strong technical and motor skills, ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and moving about when assisting with procedures. Mental requirements include coping with frequent contact with the general public, meeting deadlines under pressure, and working without assistance from other personnel. Sensory demands include visual acuity and effective communication.
