Job Summary

Virtua Health is seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scan examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently perform high-quality CT scan studies for our patient populations according to protocols established by the radiologist.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge and utilization of all CT scan equipment and film, and take appropriate actions when service calls are required.
  • Provide safe and effective IV contrast administration, including IV catheter insertion, and prep patients according to established protocols.
  • Assist physicians during interventional CT scan procedures and provide emergency on-call services when indicated.
  • Provide instruction to and assist in any training of new CT scan technologists.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year in CT preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
  • Certification with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • N.J. DEP licensure required.
  • Advanced level ARRT certification in CT scan technology preferred.
  • CPR certification preferred.
