Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team at Danbury Brunswick. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing appetizers, meals, desserts, snacks, and special events foods under the direction of the Executive Chef. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will ensure that our residents receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, meals, desserts, snacks, and special events foods
  • Assist in serving meals as necessary and perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute menus, specials, and events
Requirements
  • One-year cook or dietary experience preferred
  • Senior living, assisted living, nursing facility experience is helpful but not required
  • A great outlook, cheerful disposition, patience, and love of seniors are a must
