Medical Echocardiographer Specialist

Job Summary:
4square Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Medical Echocardiographer to join our team. As a Medical Echocardiographer, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical procedures, including echocardiograms, to diagnose and treat diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures to diagnose and treat diseases.
- Position patients for procedures and set up equipment to provide imaging services.
- Use independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to obtain high-quality diagnostic studies.
- Understand anatomy and pathology and how they affect the quality of a procedure.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet department needs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited program.
- Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program.
- Registered Medical Sonographer or Reg Cardiac Sonographer - CCI or Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer certification.
- Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor certification.
- Minimum 1 year experience in echocardiography or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
Working Conditions:
This position requires frequent verbal and written communication with physicians, patients, visitors, departmental staff, and nursing staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet department needs.
