Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our DOU. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative and supportive nursing and provider team, with great nurse-to-patient ratios. Our robust onboarding and orientation process ensures that you will receive the training and support you need to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the DOU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license.
- 1+ years of experience in an ED or similar setting preferred.
- BSN or enrollment in a BSN program preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, and ENPC certifications required within specified timeframes.
