About the Role:
The Insurance Financial Analyst Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the Chief Financial Analyst in ensuring that insurance companies operating within the state comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Financial Analysis and Examinations Department
- Log and input files and forms received from insurers into dashboard tracking sheets and electronic file folders
- Draft correspondence and set up meetings
- Retrieve financial statement filings from various internet sites and flag deadlines
- Assist in preparing analysis with the staff and senior financial analysts
- Assist in planning and scheduling financial reviews
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or Accounting
- Two years of directly related job experience in office administration, budgeting, purchasing, finance, accounting, auditing, cash management, and/or contract management
- Experience with software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Ability to work towards an associate's degree or certification in a business discipline
