Job Description:
    We are seeking a skilled Pressure Control Systems Engineer to join our team in a rubber manufacturing facility specializing in the production of elastomer seals for pressure control systems and Blow Out Preventer (BOP) seals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new elastomer seals, ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards. As a key member of our engineering team, you will have opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customers, suppliers, marketing, sales, and project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new elastomer seals for pressure control and BOP applications.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design requirements.\
  • Ensure compliance of designs with customer specifications, API standards, and internal design inputs.\
  • Highlight mechanical technical risks and participate in design reviews.\
  • Oversee testing, verification, and conformance of design outputs.\
  • Manage related technical documentation and lead efforts in generating new part numbers and bills of material.\
  • Address design change requests and ensure timely progress reporting to management and project teams.\
  • Guide and coordinate the efforts of drafters and technicians involved in the design and development process.

Requirements:
    
  • \
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.\
  • Experience in mechanical design within a sealing technology or elastomer manufacturing environment.\
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., FEA).\
  • Experience with API standards and Oil & Gas sealing requirements is highly desirable.\
  • Familiarity with creating and managing part numbers, bills of material (BOM), and technical documentation
