We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO. As a Pulmonary Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch patient care utilizing respiratory therapy protocols and best practices.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $31.61 - $47.41 per hour, depending on relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care services, utilizing advanced respiratory therapy protocols and techniques to optimize patient care.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and satisfaction, incorporating evidence-based practice into daily care.
  • Precept new healthcare professionals, promoting proficiency and excellence within our organization.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • State licensure and certifications as required (NRP, PALS, ACLS, BLS).
