Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As an Endoscopy Technologist, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect services to GI patients under the supervision of a professional nurse.

This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment and supplies
  • Assisting physicians and registered nurses with procedures as directed
  • Verifying proper equipment functioning and performing safety checks
  • Maintaining endoscopic equipment and preparing broken scopes for repair
  • Collecting and delivering specimens collected during procedures
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 0-1 year of experience preferred
  • BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
  • SGNA Certification within 6 months of hire required
