Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our educational services team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological assessments, developing and implementing effective interventions, and collaborating with teachers and administrators to support student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention
    • Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels.
    • Interpret assessment results and provide insights to inform instructional planning, intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaboration and Consultation
    • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies.
    • Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings, addressing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Professional Development and Compliance
    • Stay current with research, best practices, and legal requirements related to school psychology and special education.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including 504 meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and contribute expertise in addressing students' needs and goal-setting.
Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results
  • Sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures
  • Strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
