Security Officer

The Security Officer is a critical role within Sonesta International Hotels, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all guests, employees, and visitors. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Hotel Security and Safety: Ensure the security and safety of all hotel assets, guests, and employees by enforcing security policies and procedures.
- Incident Response: Investigate and respond to incidents, including thefts, accidents, and other security-related matters.
- Fire Prevention and Safety: Perform regular fire safety checks and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Guest and Employee Relations: Provide excellent customer service and resolve guest and employee complaints regarding safety and security matters.
- Reporting and Documentation: Complete accurate and timely reports and documentation related to security incidents and other matters.
- Regular Attendance: Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods, as well as lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Emergency Response: Understand and execute all safety and emergency procedures, including fire, crowd control, and inclement weather.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
