Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Heartland Dental. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be an integral member of the patient care team, providing exceptional lifetime care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
  • Work collaboratively with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR certification.
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
