Job Overview

Doyle Security Services (DSS) is in search of a dedicated UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER with a strong emphasis on CUSTOMER SERVICE for the Miami Beach area.

Compensation: $16.25 per hour

Available Shifts: Weekend shifts (Saturday-Sunday)

Key Responsibilities of UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS:
  • Ensuring the safety of premises and personnel through regular property patrols
  • Overseeing surveillance systems
  • Conducting inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points to control entry
  • Documenting any irregularities
  • Advising violators regarding policies and procedures
  • Completing reports by noting observations, information, incidents, and surveillance activities
  • Interviewing witnesses as necessary
  • Collecting signatures when required
  • Performing tasks as assigned by supervisors or management
Requirements for UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS:
  • Military background is advantageous
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Possession of a valid Florida Class D Security Guard License
  • Valid Florida Driver License or Florida ID is necessary
  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Physical capability to perform the duties required by the position
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends
  • Prior customer service experience is essential
