We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Attorney to join our team at Jobot. As a seasoned professional with a proven track record of practicing Connecticut Law, you will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload, providing legal advice and guidance, and advocating for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and court proceedings.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements with precision and attention to detail.
- Manage a diverse caseload effectively, ensuring all cases are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide sound legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring they understand all aspects of their case.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, effectively advocating for their interests.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, using strong negotiation skills to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Connecticut Law and changes in legal practice.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to case management.
- Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, specifically within the state of Connecticut.
- Active member of the Connecticut State Bar.
- Proven experience in legal research, analysis, drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
- Extensive experience in litigation, with a strong track record of successful case outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, with a proven ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strong commitment to advocating for clients and achieving successful case results.
- Proficient in case management software and legal databases.
