Key Responsibilities
The Laundry Service Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of residents' personal garments and community linens. This position ensures a hygienic and efficient laundry environment while overseeing the functionality of all laundry equipment.
- Efficiently wash, dry, and press residents' clothing and community linens.
- Carefully fold and/or hang laundered items as required.
- Distribute freshly laundered items to appropriate locations.
- Assist with bed changes as necessary.
- Regularly clean the laundry room, including mopping floors and washing walls.
- Uphold a safe and sanitary workspace within the laundry facility.
- Disinfect and maintain all laundry equipment and supplies.
- Ensure laundry and cleaning carts are stocked with necessary materials.
- Empty waste receptacles and manage trash disposal.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the team.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Completion of all required training programs as specified by Atria.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and schedules as needed.
- Ability to operate commercial laundry machinery safely and effectively.
- Proof of full vaccination is required upon hiring.
