Cath Lab Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Emerald Health Services. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting Interventional Cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab. This role requires strong knowledge of X-ray equipment, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Interventional Cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab
  • Operate X-ray equipment and other imaging modalities
  • Monitor hemodynamic parameters and adjust as necessary
  • Maintain a sterile environment and follow proper infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • ARRT certification
  • ODH Ohio Radiologic License
  • BLS certification
  • Knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, physics, radiation protection, and medical terminology
