Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of testing, project-specific observations, and site assessments under direct supervision and/or according to detailed procedures.
- Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams to guide work
- Employ specific methods to observe site activities and execute tasks
- Document detailed observations and provide limited interpretation of results
- Maintain thorough documentation and data from test outcomes
- Use a calculator for mathematical test result calculations
- Communicate effectively with clients and project teams
- Adhere to safety practices and policies to ensure personal and others' safety on-site
Qualifications:
Essential Skills for Success:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- No prior experience necessary - individuals with less experience are encouraged to apply; in-house training and advancement opportunities are available based on performance
- Basic Math, Calculator, and Computer Skills required
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and comprehend work plans
- Flexibility to work off shifts and overtime
- Valid Driver's License and a reliable driving record (required)
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication (hearing) and to discern sounds
- Ability to kneel and squat occasionally
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (hot and cold)
- Ability to climb occasionally.
