Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital. As a RN, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and behavioral health needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Provide nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice, adhering to state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Document accurate patient information, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license, or eligibility to practice nursing in accordance with state requirements.
  • One year of nursing experience, with previous psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance abuse nursing experience preferred.
  • CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.

  • Shift differentials up to $5.00 per hour.
  • Available shifts and hours: 2 full-time RN admissions positions available for night shift (11:00PM - 11:00 AM & 7:00PM - 7:00AM).
