Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our team in the Architecture department at College of the Canyons. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching courses in Architecture and contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Architecture, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the department's goals and objectives
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement interdisciplinary courses and programs
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
  • Teaching experience in Architecture or a related field
  • Ability to teach a variety of courses in Architecture, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Architecture or a related field
  • Experience teaching online courses
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
