RxSight, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cleanroom Mixing Technician to join our team in Aliso Viejo, California. As a key member of our Manufacturing Chemistry Group, you will be responsible for formulating and producing high-quality materials in a cleanroom environment.
Key Responsibilities- Formulation and Production
- Prepare and mix various components to support lens production in the cleanroom environment.
- Develop and implement new formulation techniques to improve product quality and efficiency.
- Cleanroom Support
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict protocols and procedures.
- Ensure a safe working environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Inventory and Paperwork
- Record and maintain detailed logs of mixing processes, including batch numbers, quantities, and production dates.
- Assist in inventory management, including raw materials, reagents, and consumables.
- Laboratory Support
- Assist with data acquisition, recording, and management.
- Participate in laboratory activities, including making base baths and cleaning laboratory glassware.
- Education and Experience
- Associates degree or three to five years related experience and/or training in a chemical or medical devices industry.
- Skills and Abilities
- Experience in material handling and chemistry is required.
- Basic understanding of chemical/chemistry processes is desirable.
- Prior experience working in a cleanroom environment and/or chemistry lab is required.
- Personal Qualities
- Professional, responsible, energetic, and accountable.
- Good knowledge of basic materials characterization techniques (UV-Vis, Comparator, Durometer).
- Self-starter and a well-organized individual with problem-solving skills.
This is a full-time position that requires working in a cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
