Operating Room Nurse

The RN Clinical Nurse is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a proactive and compassionate nurse, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver individualized care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions- Exemplary Practice and Outcomes: Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care, using evidence-based practice and analytical/critical thinking to ensure individualized care.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment. Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration by practicing in a manner that is fiscally responsible and promotes the recruitment and retention of all healthcare team members.
- Professional Development and Initiative: Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, required mandatory education, and population-specific education. Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses, modeling the professional practice of nursing and creating a healthy work environment.
- Evidence-Based Practice and Research: Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement in nursing. Participate in activities such as value analysis as part of the decision-making process in evaluating patient care products.
- Resources and Support: Proactively plan for the care of patients across the care continuum, participating in the development of protocols and procedures to achieve best practice outcomes.
We require a Diploma from an accredited nursing program or a Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing. A minimum of 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience is also required.
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s)All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. We require a Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact, as well as Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor.
