About the Role

At Terre Haute Regional Hospital, we're committed to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Respiratory Care Specialist, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality respiratory care to our patients.

What You'll Do

You will perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure. This will involve conducting diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.

You will administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy. Additionally, you will assist with placement of artificial airways, initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation, and monitor patients for therapeutic response.

Your Qualifications
  • You must be a State Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • BLS certification is required, ACLS certification is preferred
