Job Overview:

The Boeing Company is actively seeking a Systems Integration Specialist to become a vital part of our Advanced Pilot Training Program. This role will primarily focus on the integration of complex systems within the Defense, Space & Security (BDS) sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate system verification and airworthiness assessments.
  • Oversee formal technical communications and documentation.
  • Lead technical investigations to resolve issues, employing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methodologies.
  • Implement new design standards, technical specifications, and innovative processes.
  • Review and assess technical contractual deliverables.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for technical execution.
  • Support various operational activities including production, lab testing, ground testing, and flight testing.
  • Assist in resolving issues across all program areas such as Configuration Management, Air Vehicle Design, and Quality Assurance.
  • Manage Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) 3D engineering data to facilitate downstream engineering processes.
  • Engage in design studies for derivative and variant aircraft.
  • Collaborate with program leadership and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading technical issue resolution.
  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace, automotive, robotics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in software and hardware integration.
  • Familiarity with system-level architecture development.
  • Knowledge of airworthiness certification and requirements verification.
  • Experience with lab, ground, and flight testing procedures.
  • Proficiency in engaging with technical customers.
  • Experience with engineering design software (e.g., CAD/3D packages such as UG/NX, CATIA, SolidWorks).

Work Environment:

This position is expected to be performed onsite, ensuring collaboration and engagement with the team.

Security Clearance:

Applicants must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
