At Alliant Insurance Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Operations Officer to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing broad analytical support across the organization and acting as a liaison between Finance and other operational departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data management, financial systems, and other analytical tools. Additionally, they should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or mathematics, or a related field, and at least four years of experience in a financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or risk and advisory role. Prior experience with applied epic, benefitpoint, and hyperion, power BI is also a plus. They will also have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare, interpret, and analyze financial statements based on a strong understanding of US GAAP.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing broad analytical support to assigned operating groups and acting as a liaison between Finance and other operational departments.
  • Preparing timely, accurate, and relevant ad-hoc and standard management reporting.
  • Analyzing and interpreting financial results, comparing actual performance to prior periods, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Providing consultative data and analysis for company-wide RFPs, marketing surveys, and other special projects.
  • Organizing and analyzing large quantities of data and performing data reconciliations to ensure accuracy of work products.
