Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced dental assistant to join our team as a part-time instructor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in the dental assisting field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and syllabi for dental assisting courses
  • Prepare and grade written and practical examinations to assess student learning
  • Attend faculty meetings, in-service training, and other events as required by the college
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to the college's faculty dress code
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the program supervisor
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the dental assisting field with a degree, diploma, or certificate
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of current education methodologies and techniques
  • Preferred: RDA certification, degree, diploma, or certificate in the field
