We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our community at Buckner International, where we are dedicated to delivering exceptional care and service to our residents. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating resident care management, providing direct nursing care, and supervising staff.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate and implement individualized health care plans in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient progress.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs and provide personalized care, collaborating with physicians as needed.
- Supervise aides in the performance of their duties, monitoring work quality and assigning tasks accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of resident status, including acute episodes or significant changes, and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum one year of related experience, preferably in long-term care settings.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and walk/stoop/kneel frequently, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
