Responsibilities of the Personal Caregiver:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping, and companionship.
- Work primarily in the client's residence.
- Adapt to varying shift times, days, and activities based on client needs.
Requirements for the Personal Caregiver:
- Preferred certification as a Health Care Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant, but not required. Training for certification will be provided.
- Previous caregiving experience is advantageous.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must pass a written competency evaluation, drug screening, and a nationwide background check.
- Must be honest, approachable, and possess a caring attitude towards others.
