Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychologist to join our team at the State of Kansas. As a Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological services to residents in our care, including assessment, treatment, and consultation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify residents' needs and develop treatment plans
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to residents, focusing on mental health and behavioral issues
  • Consult with treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents
  • Develop and implement behavioral support plans to promote resident well-being and safety
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication
Requirements
  • Eligible to be registered or licensed to practice as a psychologist in Kansas
  • Master's degree in psychology or completion of a program of study acceptable to the KS Board of Behavioral Sciences
  • Knowledgeable in developmental disabilities, mental illness, applied behavior analysis, and resident support programs
  • Experience in providing consultation and facilitation services to consumers
