Job Summary:The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an academic maternal-fetal medicine physician to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.
Position Overview:The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University (OSU) Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) and College of Medicine is seeking to recruit a fellowship-trained, board-certified, or eligible Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician. The current Maternal-Fetal Medicine division members include nationally recognized leaders of the subspecialty with diverse clinical expertise and are dedicated to training the next generation of leaders in MFM.
Responsibilities:- Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical maternal and fetal medicine services at OSUWMC campuses
- Manage labor and delivery
- Participate in faculty call schedules
- Provide outreach and consultative services for three regional healthcare systems
- Engage in translational, epidemiologic, and clinical research
- Lead community-engagement projects in the Columbus area
- Instruct medical students, residents, and MFM fellows
- Serve on university, college, departmental, divisional, and hospital task force committees
- Board Certified/Eligible in OBGYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Completion of an accredited residency and fellowship program
- Qualify for academic appointment at the assistant or associate professor rank
- Have or qualify for an active license to practice medicine in the state of Ohio
