Position Overview
The Heart & Vascular Institute at Benefis Health System is seeking a qualified advanced practice provider with a background in cardiology. As a level II trauma center and a regional referral hub, we provide in-house referrals, a supportive clinic environment, and a collaborative medical team of over 340 healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an outpatient clinic with flexible hours, operating Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Participate in hospital rounding and consultations as needed.
- Engage in outreach activities 1-2 days per month to serve the broader community.
Team Composition
- 2 Cardiovascular Surgeons
- 3 Cardiothoracic Physician Assistants
- 4 Interventional Cardiologists (with upcoming vacancies)
- 1 Non-Invasive Cardiologist (with open positions)
- 1 Independent Electrophysiologist
- 1 Nurse Practitioner
