Your Typical Responsibilities:
- Oversee global and local account management for a select group of global strategic accounts based in your region.
- Promote and sell the complete GXO service portfolio to your clients, striving to increase their overall logistics spending with us.
- Manage all facets of customer accounts concerning logistics solutions.
- Ensure the successful execution of customer-facing initiatives in a timely and high-quality manner.
- Comprehend and adeptly navigate clients' supply chain processes while establishing relationships with stakeholders who influence these processes.
- Administer service pricing and margins in accordance with established agreements.
- Collaborate with clients globally and partner with GXO personnel worldwide to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
- Translate client strategies and priorities into a comprehensive global pursuit roadmap encapsulated in a strategic account plan that you will own and regularly update, supported by a pipeline of opportunities.
- Provide precise timelines and forecasts regarding pipeline activities to inform financial planning.
- Monitor market trends, product advancements, and competitor activities; report on market and competitive dynamics.
Qualifications for Success at GXO:
To qualify, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent work or military experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in selling contract logistics and distribution solutions.
- Proven experience in logistics sales and sales management, with a track record of sustaining and growing a portfolio of at least $25 million annually.
It would be advantageous if you also possess:
- An MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field.
- 15 years of experience in the sales of contract logistics and supply chain processes.
- The willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire team members and collaborate effectively with integrity.
- The capability to represent the company professionally and build robust, sustainable relationships with clients at all organizational levels.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the stamina to apply them consistently.
