**Job Summary**

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Precertification Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for obtaining authorizations for appointments, surgeries, and procedures in the healthcare industry.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Obtain authorizations for appointments, surgeries, and procedures through insurance payer portals
  • Communicate with insurance payers via phone for specific situations
  • Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure seamless authorization processes
  • Collaborate with our client's team to meet their authorization needs

**Requirements:**

  • At least 1 year of prior authorization experience in the healthcare industry
  • Experience with Epic systems
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days a week with our client in a healthcare setting
