Mille Lacs Health System is seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Services Manager to lead our dietary services team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a proven track record of managing food service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Provide managerial leadership to the dietary services team, including oversight and management of licensed and non-licensed personnel.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and performance.
- Quality and Safety
- Ensure compliance with state and federal food regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement processes to improve patient safety and satisfaction.
- Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional patient care and service, aligning with the organization's mission and values.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Financial Management
- Manage departmental financial functions, including budgeting, resource allocation, and asset management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance and reduce expenses.
- Community and Relationships
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, vendors, and payers.
- Support the organization's mission and values, and promote a positive image of the organization.
- Licensed Dietitian in the State of Minnesota (preferred) or Credentialed as a certified dietary manager or registered dietetic technician.
- At least five years of experience in dietary services, with hospital experience preferred.
- Minimum of one year experience in a previous leadership or supervisory position.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check as required by the State of Minnesota.
- BLS certification required.
This is an exempt position, requiring 40 hours of work per week, with some flexibility as needed.
