Job TitleLand Surveyor - Project Lead
  • Plan, organize, and manage project elements and multiple clients.
  • Lead projects, ensuring proper practices and techniques.
  • Develop and implement project strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Maintain open communication with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and support to the survey team by leading projects.
  • Manage multiple project teams in the field.
  • Ensure compliance with KLJ safety standards.
  • Coordinate and prioritize project work.

Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or equivalent experience.
  • PLS certification.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate motorized vehicles.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily work in the field, with occasional office work.
  • Regularly walk on uneven terrain up to ten miles per day.
  • Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds.

Professional Land Surveyor - Field Manager

As a Professional Land Surveyor - Field Manager at KLJ, you will work with entry-level and experienced survey professionals to provide survey-related services for client projects. Responsibilities
  • Survey to determine precise locations and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for various purposes.
  • Conduct construction staking, planning, reports, maps, plats, deeds, and research.
  • Ensure the accuracy of documents and deliverables completed by the team.
  • Train and mentor crew members.

Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or equivalent experience.
  • PLS certification.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate motorized vehicles.
