Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a correctional setting. As a Correctional RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and make a positive impact on their lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, immunizations, and emergency first aid.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct health assessments, identify health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Active North Carolina RN License
  • Minimum 1-year prior nursing experience
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Corrections nursing experience is a plus
  • Ability to pass a background check
